Vita Classica Therme

The Vita Classica Therme is the thermal bath of Bad Krozingen, in the Markgräflerland of Baden-Württemberg. It pairs a mineral thermal bath with the Saunaparadies and a treatment house, the Wohlfühlhaus, in the same complex.

The water

The venue describes its water as mineral thermal water, and it carries an official medicinal certification. The spring supplies water at 39 °C and the pools are held across a wide range, from 20 to 39 °C. According to the venue the water is used for circulatory conditions.

Sauna

The Saunaparadies is textile-free and open from the age of 16, with two standing exceptions: a ladies' sauna on Wednesday mornings from 09:00 to 13:00, outside the holidays and the period from 24 December to 6 January, and a family day every Saturday, when all ages are admitted.

Visiting

The bath opens daily, including public holidays, from 08:30 to 22:00, and the Saunaparadies from 10:00 to 22:00. Last admission is at 20:45, the water has to be left by 21:30 and the building by 22:00. Treatments in the Wohlfühlhaus run 10:00 to 21:00 daily, with the desk open 09:00 to 17:00 on weekdays and to 13:00 on Saturdays. Parking beside the bath is free.

Prices

A single entry to the bath is 21.90 EUR, an evening ticket from 18:30 is 19.90 EUR and a reduced ticket 20.90 EUR, each with a 3.00 EUR surcharge at weekends, on public holidays and over the Christmas holidays; children and young people from 3 to 15 pay 18.40 EUR and toddlers up to 2 years 13.40 EUR. A family package for two adults and up to four children is 77.50 EUR, and for one adult with up to three children 56.00 EUR. With the Saunaparadies included the single entry is 31.90 EUR, the evening ticket 28.90 EUR and the reduced ticket 30.40 EUR, with a 4.00 EUR peak surcharge; on Saturdays children and young people up to 15 pay 25.40 EUR. Multi-visit passes run from 189.00 EUR for ten baths to 1,405.00 EUR for a year with the sauna. A sauna supplement on top of a bath ticket is 13.30 EUR. The bath is at Thürachstraße 4.
