Tropicana

Tropicana Stadthagen, at Jahnstraße 2 in 31655 Stadthagen in Lower Saxony, bills itself as "Das Bad mit dem Schuss Karibik" and is organised as a leisure bath, a sauna world and a wellness department, each with its own hours and a shared value card. The bath side lists a 70-metre slide with timing for older children and adults, the Piratensause slide for 4- to 12-year-olds and a baby pool slide for the smallest guests — three slides in total — plus a current channel, a course pool used for aqua fitness and swimming lessons, a 25-metre pool for lane swimming, a toddler area and an outdoor pool. No slide widths, pool sizes, depths or water temperatures are published anywhere on the site.

The water character is stated but the two operator pages disagree on how strong the claim is. The homepage lists among the attractions "das Thermalsole- Außenbecken", which asserts thermal brine; the Schwimmen & Spaß page, listing the same set of attractions, calls the same pool "das Sole-Außenbecken", brine without the thermal claim. No brine concentration, source temperature, well depth or mineral figure is published on either page, and neither page repeats the word anywhere else, so the outdoor pool is brine water of unstated strength and the thermal claim rests on a single word on one page. The same two lists also differ on the indoor pools: the homepage names a Strudelbecken (whirlpool) where the bath page names the Kursbecken.

The sauna world is described as eight themed saunas spread over two floors — "Die acht Themensaunen laden auf zwei Etagen zur Entspannung und zum Verweilen ein" — with hourly infusions until 20:30, a large cold-water area for cooling, an outdoor pool, a sauna garden, several rest rooms and a Rhassoul bath combining a herbal steam bath with a natural mud treatment. Individual cabin names and temperatures are not published. Wednesday is women-only in the sauna, except on Lower Saxony public holidays. Catering is split between the Palmenbar under an open-air roof in the bath, the sauna restaurant, and an independently run bistro in the foyer; there is also a swimwear shop on site. Outdoors in summer there is a sand area for beach volleyball and dunes for sunbathing.

The bath opens Monday 13:00 to 22:00 (from 10:00 during Lower Saxony school holidays), Tuesday and Thursday from 06:30, Wednesday and Friday from 08:00, Saturday, Sunday and public holidays from 09:00, closing at 22:00 every day. The sauna keeps the same Monday and weekend hours but opens at 10:00 Tuesday to Friday. Friday is family day, when the sport pool becomes a water playground from 14:00 to 17:30, and during Lower Saxony holidays the water play equipment is set up Monday to Saturday from 12:00 to 17:00. Normal hours apply between the Christmas and New Year holidays. The site publishes no admission prices in plain text — they sit behind a separate prices and value-card page — and no opening year.
