Thermen & Badewelt Sinsheim is a large tropical bathing and sauna complex in Sinsheim, Baden-Württemberg, combining palm-filled lagoons, brine and mineral pools, and a themed sauna world open 365 days a year.

About

Thermen & Badewelt Sinsheim is an indoor bathing and sauna resort at Badewelt 1 in Sinsheim, Baden-Württemberg. It is arranged as several themed worlds — the Palmenparadies bathing paradise and the Vitaltherme & Sauna area — and, according to its operator, opens every day of the year.

Pools and water

At the heart of the Palmenparadies is the large lagoon ("große Lagune") filled with turquoise water kept at 34 °C, alongside whirlpools and mineral pools ("Mineralbecken"). The area also includes a brine pool ("Solebecken") and two outdoor pools at the adjoining Paradise Beach. The Vitaltherme & Sauna area has its own lagoon at 34 °C and a brine pool. The operator states an indoor air temperature of 32 °C.

Sauna world

The Vitaltherme & Sauna offers thirteen themed saunas, among them the Koi, Alhambra, barrel (Fass), coffee-house (Kaffeehaus) and cinema (Kino) saunas, plus a steam bath called "Vitalnebel". The operator describes the 166 m² Koi sauna as the largest sauna in the world. This area is textile-free and admits guests aged 16 and over.

Wellness and spa

Guests can book massages and beauty treatments, and the site offers guided wellness journeys ("Wohlfühlreisen") and immersive wellbeing experiences combining light, sound and warmth. A sauna boat with panoramic views is among the features.

Setting and features

The Palmenparadies is planted with more than 400 South Sea palms and features a 2,000 m² sand beach (Paradise Beach) with hammocks, loungers and canopy beds, sheltered by a 2,300 m² retractable roof ("Cabriodach"). The resort states it provides 453 relaxation loungers. Dining is available at the Paradiso restaurant and pool bars.

Access and hours

The Palmenparadies is generally for guests aged 16 and over (with an exception for small children up to age 4), and hosts family days on Saturdays. Stated daily opening hours are 10:00–23:00 for the Vitaltherme & Sauna and Palmenparadies, and 09:00–21:00 for the Sportbad.
