Spassbad Topas

Spassbad Topas is the covered water park of the Ferienzentrum Schloss Dankern, a holiday centre at Dankern 1, 49733 Haren/Ems in Emsland, Lower Saxony, run by Ferienzentrum Schloss Dankern GmbH & Co. KG. The operator spells the name without an eszett, as "Spassbad Topas". It is not a thermal or mineral bath: nothing on the site names a spring, a brine or a mineral water, and the operator markets the hall simply as water fun in any weather. The bath is listed among the attractions tagged for toddlers, school children and teenagers and as a bad-weather option, and the operator's own summary promises slides in all shapes and lengths with varying gradients, a large water playground, climbing tunnels and water cannons.

The operator's separate attraction pages describe individual features of the water area. The slides include a fast Speedrutsche, a funnel slide ridden on a tyre and a family slide called Magiceye; a Breitrutsche, a broad multi-lane slide, runs through the middle of the bath and ends with a splash in the pool. A water locomotive stands in the middle of a pool, and children slide out of its boiler into the shallow water. A small-children's pool has a clown fountain and a butterfly slide, and a water playground occupies its own area for sliding, climbing and splashing. The site does not state a pool count, a water temperature or an opening year, and there is no sauna world attached to the bath.

Day visitors are admitted. Schloss Dankern runs a dedicated Tagesbesuch section in which Spassbad Topas appears as one of the day-trip options alongside the leisure park, priced from 11 EUR for children, and the bath has its own published admission list for the 2026 season: children under two free, children aged 2 to 14 eleven euros, adults thirteen euros, seniors from sixty eleven euros, and school pupils on a class trip with a guest pass five euros. So the water world is not reserved for park residents. Opening hours are daily 10:00 to 20:00, the longest of any attraction on the site; the leisure park itself closes at 18:00.
