RappSoDie

RappSoDie is a brine and family bath (Sole- und Familienbad) at Salinenstraße 37 in Bad Rappenau. Its centrepiece is a natural brine (Sole) bathing area, supported by an extensive sauna world, a seasonal outdoor pool and an on-site restaurant. At the time of writing the indoor brine bath is being rebuilt, while the sauna remains open during the works.

Brine bathing water

The interior brine bath is set over two levels and, according to the operator, is filled with natural brine water. The site states that this water contains minerals including magnesium, lithium, selenium and zinc, and that brine bathing is known for relieving rheumatic, respiratory and skin complaints ("zur Linderung von Rheuma-, Atemwegs- und Hauterkrankungen bekannt"). A separate steam bath is part of the bathing area.

Sauna world

The sauna area comprises eight sauna rooms, ranging from gentle steam baths to high-temperature saunas with infusions. Guests can take part in infusion ceremonies (Aufgusszeremonien), and the sauna garden includes a natural bathing pond.

Wellness and treatments

Wellness offerings include massages and a Kleopatra bath, along with aromatherapy-based and specialised massage treatments and sound-bowl sessions offered to limited group sizes.

Outdoor pool

An outdoor pool (Freibad) operates during the warmer months, with the site indicating a May-to-September season.

Dining

A full-service restaurant with a terrace serves breakfast, lunchtime dishes, evening meals and coffee and cake.

Opening hours

The sauna is open Monday to Thursday 9:00-22:00, Friday and Saturday 9:00-23:00, and Sundays and public holidays 9:00-21:00. The outdoor pool is listed as open daily 8:00-20:00.
