About

Nordbad is a municipal pool in Neuss, in North Rhine-Westphalia, run by the town's utility. It is an ordinary town bath rather than a thermal one: the site makes no claim of a thermal or mineral spring, and the water is treated mains water.

Pools

The main basin, for swimmers and non-swimmers together, is 25 by 12.5 m — 312.5 m² at 27 °C, running from 1.35 to 4.05 m deep. A teaching pool of 8 by 12.5 m holds 100 m² at 32 °C, from 0.75 to 1.35 m. A 100 m² splash landscape, 0 to 40 cm deep and also at 32 °C, opens only in summer.

Slide and sauna

A 65-metre water slide with a timing system runs at 27 °C. The sauna is a textile one at 70 to 80 °C, where swimwear is required.
