Erlebniswelt SPLASH

The Erlebniswelt SPLASH is an indoor bathing, sauna and leisure complex at Quoltitzer Straße in Sagard on the island of Rügen, a few steps from the Precise Resort Rügen hotel, whose guests are admitted as part of their stay while day visitors pay at the gate. The operator gives the whole Erlebniswelt as more than 3,500 square metres and describes it as one of the more entertaining family destinations on the island, combining the water park with a spa, a gym and a large indoor playground with a climbing tower and trampoline.

The bathing landscape itself is given as more than 1,500 square metres and is planted with tall palms and other greenery for a tropical effect. Indoors it holds a pool with a current channel, bubble loungers and cascade showers, and a separate children's pool; the water is kept between 28 and 30 °C. A whirlpool is accessible all year and a summer pool seasonally, each through its own entry, and the single slide is 80 metres long. The water carries no thermal or mineral claim of any kind: it is heated tap water, and the operator makes no statement about a spring, a well or salt content.

The sauna landscape is described as generous and is listed cabin by cabin: two block-house saunas at 80 to 90 °C and 90 to 100 °C, a medial sauna at 60 °C, a steam sauna at 42 °C and a Finnish sauna at 90 to 100 °C, with a sauna garden and a plunge pool for cooling. The adjoining beauty and wellness department covers 450 square metres and offers single, couple and package treatments, including treatments for children, using natural cosmetics from a local Rügen supplier. Massages, beauty treatments, a bistro and children's birthday parties complete the offer.

The Erlebniswelt opens daily from 10:00 to 21:00, with last admission at 20:00. The operator publishes no prices in page text and no seasonal dates for the summer pool, and gives no opening year or construction history.
