AHOI! RÜGEN

AHOI! RÜGEN stands in the Baltic seaside resort of Sellin on the island of Rügen, a few hundred metres from the harbour and the Seepark stop of the resort railway. The operator counts the offer as "6 Becken", "3 Whirlpools", "3 Saunen", "3 Dampfbäder", "15 Wasserspiele", "2 Rutschen", "2 Bars" and "1 Bistro". The bathing hall is described as a "600 qm großen Wasserfläche" and combines an indoor set with an outdoor pool and a lawn: the site lists an Erlebnisbecken for swimming lengths, a Strömungskanal, an Außenbecken open in any weather, a Warmbecken aimed at babies and small children, a Kinderbecken with a toy-boat channel and an elephant slide, a Sprudelgrotte, whirlpools, bubble benches and loungers, massage jets, water mushrooms, a water geyser, water spouts and a water playground that tips fifty litres from above. The named slide is an Erlebnisrutsche, given as "100 Meter um die Kurven sausen"; the second slide of the homepage count is not separately described, the only other chute named on the site being the children's elephant slide.

On the water itself the operator makes no claim at all. A sweep of the homepage, the Badewelt page, the Saunawelt page, the opening-hours page and the ticket page for Sole, Meerwasser, Salzwasser, Salz, Thermal, Ostsee, Quelle, Temperatur and Grad returned no hit anywhere except a place name ("Gemeinde Ostseebad Sellin"). Despite its Baltic setting this is therefore not a seawater or brine bath and is not thermal: it is an ordinary heated freshwater leisure pool, and no water temperature is published on any of those pages.

The sauna section is presented under the name Saunaland and holds a Kaminsauna described as heat without an infusion, an Eventsauna described as an Estonian sauna with infusions, and a Kristallsauna with natural crystal, together with a Dampfbad given as a steam bath with "100% Luftfeuchtigkeit", a U-Boot Tepidarium for inhaling, an Aromabrücke, a whirlpool, a plunge pool, a cold pool, a foot basin, experience showers and a quiet room. No cabin temperatures are published. Bathrobes and sauna towels are lent for 5 € and 2.50 €.

The bath is open all year in two seasons. From Good Friday to 3 November the bathing landscape runs 10:00–21:00 with the sauna from 14:00; from 4 November to Maundy Thursday it runs 13:00–20:00, again with the sauna from 14:00. Maintenance weeks fall annually in November, given for 2026 as 9 to 20 November. Last admission is sixty minutes before closing. Admission on the ticket page: a sixty-minute ticket at 12 € for adults and 7 € for children aged 3–14, a three-hour ticket at 20 € and 15 €, a day ticket to closing at 25 € and 18 €, and a moonlight ticket valid from two hours before closing at 15 € and 11 €; babies under three pay 3 €, and the sauna costs 8 € more per person. A holiday card from the partner municipalities gives 25 % off the basic ticket and a resident card 50 %. Two operator pages disagree on the family ticket: the homepage advertises the Familien Karte "ab 58 EUR" while the ticket page prices two adults plus one child at "2 Eltern + 1 Kind: 60,00 Euro"; the same homepage teaser gives the Treue Karte for ten visits "ab 75 EUR" where the ticket page lists the ten-visit bath card at 140 € for adults and 100 € for children and the ten-visit sauna card at 260 € and 220 €. The bath came into public hands recently: "Am 24. Dezember 2015 erwirbt die Gemeinde Ostseebad Sellin ein betagtes Schwimmbad aus privater Hand und überführt es in öffentliche Trägerschaft" — that is the date of acquisition of an existing older pool, not an opening date, and no opening year is published on the site.
