The crucenia thermen is the thermal bath of Bad Kreuznach, in Rhineland-Palatinate, run by the town's utility. Bad Kreuznach is a brine and radon spa town, and the bath sits in the spa quarter beside the Kurhaus. The water Thermal water of about 33 °C fills two indoor pools and one outdoor pool, with a water massage lounger among the fittings. A larger freshwater pool is kept a little cooler, at about 30 °C, for longer swims. The thermal water is a mild brine with a salt content of about 1.5 per cent, pumped from a spring 500 metres underground and piped from the Salinental valley; the bath publishes no detailed analysis. Facilities An infrared cabin and a rest room are part of the bath, and aqua-fitness classes, free of charge and included in admission, run on set days each week; a separate prenatal aqua-fitness course meets in the freshwater pool. The water massage lounger can be booked for a 15-minute partial or a 30-minute full-body massage. The building is certified for accessibility and has step-free access. Visiting The bath is open daily from 08:00 to 21:00, at Kurhausstraße 26. Sauna facilities are not on site; the utility runs a separate sauna and wellness bath, the Bäderhaus, nearby.
