Perla Vlahitei

Termál Liget Szentegyháza, in Romanian Perla Vlăhiței, is an open-air thermal bath in Vlăhița (Szentegyháza), a town below the Harghita Mountains in Transylvania. The municipality runs it, and it reopened after renovation on 4 July 2025.

There are two thermal-water pools, one of 25 x 10 m and one of 5 x 10 m, and a fresh-water children's pool 5 m across, next to a playground. The large pool is emptied on Sunday evening and refilled with fresh thermal water on Monday, and its water circulates through an overflow system in between; the small pool is changed every three days.

The operators present it as more than a lido: a place for families and day-trippers, close to nature. Food and drink are sold on site. Visitors can stay in small houses and "mini home" cottages sized for two adults and two children, at a campsite or in a student hostel. There is Wi-Fi and parking, and pets are not allowed.
