Gamla Laugin

Secret Lagoon (Gamla Laugin) is a geothermal bathing pool in Flúðir, Iceland, built in 1891 at the Hveraholmi geothermal area and reopened in 2014 after restoration. The operator states the lagoon is fed entirely by nearby hot springs — Vadmalahver, Basahver and the small geyser Litli Geysir, which erupts every few minutes — with water flowing continuously and a full replacement cycle of 24 hours. The water is described as staying at 38-40 degrees Celsius year-round and naturally rich in sulfur. A walking path circles the pool so visitors can watch the surrounding springs.
