Marissa Resort Pool&SPA

The Pool&SPA belongs to the Marissa Resort, a holiday park run by Marissa GmbH at Schodden Hof 3, 49459 Lembruch, on the shore of the Dümmer See in Lower Saxony. Although it sits inside a holiday park, it is not reserved for residents: both the swimming-pool page and the sauna page state "Auch Gäste, die nicht im Park übernachten, sind herzlich willkommen!", and a published day tariff applies to them, while "Resortgäste erhalten kostenlosen Eintritt in das Schwimmbad." The water is plain heated pool water — a marketing page for the park calls it "der beheizte Innenpool" — and nothing on the operator's pages claims a spring, thermal water or brine; no pool sizes and no water temperatures are published anywhere on the site.

The bath occupies two levels. On the ground floor the operator describes "Im Familien- und Freizeitbad stehen neben Kleinkindbereich, Familien- und Außenbecken sowie Wasserrutsche auch ein Imbiss und eine Textilsauna zur Verfügung", so a toddler area, a family pool, an outdoor pool, a water slide, a snack bar and a textile sauna. On the first floor the Saunalandschaft looks out over the Dümmer See and is announced as "vier verschiedenen Saunen mit unterschiedlichen Temperaturen", named in Danish and enumerated as: Fugtig, a steam bath with high humidity; Hvile, a bio and relaxation sauna at 65–70 degrees with changing coloured light; Finsk, a Finnish sauna at 80–85 degrees with low humidity, wood panelling and an automatic infusion system; and Oplevelse, an event sauna at 90–95 degrees with an oversized stove and a lake view, where an hourly "Eiszauber" places two aromatised ice balls on the stove with water poured over and the steam deliberately not fanned. A whirlpool sits in the outdoor rest area, with a lounge and bistro alongside. The sauna landscape is textile-free without exception — "unsere Saunalandschaft ist ausschließlich textilfrei" — while the textile alternative is the sauna in the pool hall; visitors under 16 may use the sauna landscape only when accompanied.

The swimming pool opens Monday to Friday 14:00–19:00 and Saturday and Sunday 10:00–19:00, opening already at 10:00 during Lower Saxony and North Rhine-Westphalia school holidays and on public holidays, with bathing ending 15 minutes before closing and last admission 60 minutes before. The sauna landscape runs Monday to Wednesday 14:00–19:00, Thursday and Friday 14:00–21:00, Saturday 10:00–21:00 and Sunday 10:00–19:00; from Thursday to Saturday between 19:00 and 21:00 only the sauna is open and the outdoor pool is then reserved for sauna guests. Both close from 30 November to 11 December 2026 for the annual overhaul.

A single ticket covers both areas: during pool opening hours a combined ticket is issued automatically, valid for three hours at 14.00 € for adults and 6.00 € for children Monday to Friday, and 16.00 € and 8.00 € at weekends, with each further hour 3.00 € on weekdays and 4.00 € at weekends; resort guests pay no surcharge for overstaying. An after-work tariff Monday to Wednesday 17:45–19:00 costs 7.00 € for adults and 3.00 € for children, and holders of a B-Schein get 50 % off with a free companion. Bathrobes and towels are hired at 7.50 € and 5.00 €. The sauna page contradicts itself on the entry price in two banners on the same page, offering "Entspannung ab 10€" in one and "Entspannung ab 12,-€" in the other. Sauna events with hourly infusions run on separate evenings from 18:00 to 24:00 at 21.00 € for day guests and 10.50 € for resort guests, and shorten regular sauna opening to 16:30 on those days.
