Calicéo

Calicéo Versailles is at 4 Bd Georges-Marie Guynemer, 78210 Saint-Cyr-l'École, next to Versailles, with free parking on site. It is one of twelve centres in the French Calicéo chain, alongside Lieusaint, Cormeilles-en-Parisis, Noisy-le-Grand, Sainte-Foy-lès-Lyon, L'Union near Toulouse, Bruges near Bordeaux, Saint-Herblain, Saleilles, Pau, Marcq-en-Barœul and Lingolsheim. The operator describes the Saint-Cyr-l'École centre as a balneotherapy centre spread over more than 5,000 m². This is a heated-water balneotherapy establishment, not a thermal or mineral spring bath: the operator makes no claim of a natural source, and the water is described only as heated.

The bathing area, sold as Les Bains, is entered without booking and gives access to all the balneotherapy installations as well as to the sauna and hammam areas and to the aquagym classes at no extra charge. The pools, indoors and outdoors, cover more than 500 m² and are heated to 34 °C all year; they are fitted with jacuzzis, bubble seats, bubbling beds and baths, high-pressure jets, geysers, fountains and cascades. On the wide outdoor terraces the heated pool is usable in summer and winter alike, while indoors large glazed roofs light the hall over a pool that combines massage jets, bubble baths and counter-current circuits. The centre's site publishes a live occupancy indicator and states the water temperature as 34 °C.

Alongside the pools the centre runs sauna and hammam areas, the hammams scented with natural eucalyptus essences and offered with black-soap rituals, and the saunas with sauna rituals in which the staff actively move the air and a scrub is given afterwards. Saint-Cyr-l'École is one of four Calicéo centres named as holding the newer Bien-être et santé installations: an infrared sauna, an ice grotto, salt walls and a hot-cold leg circuit, all intended for muscular recovery and circulation.

Le Spa, by appointment, sells massages, facial and body treatments, LPG endermologie slimming and combined rituals pairing a treatment with a massage. La Vitalité covers the water-fitness classes: aquagym of 30 minutes, and aquabike, aquatraining, aquapilates and aquasculpt of 45 minutes each; aquasculpt, a muscle-toning class using dumbbells, noodles and webbed gloves, is offered only at Saint-Cyr-l'École and Sainte-Foy-lès-Lyon. Aquagym is included with the two-hour, day and Tempo passes.

Les Bains are open every day from 10:00 to 22:00 including public holidays, and until 23:00 on Friday and Saturday, with the bathing area evacuated fifteen minutes before the centre closes; Le Spa works 10:00 to 20:00 daily, including public holidays, by appointment. The operator asks visitors to check its page of special timetables for holidays and events.
