Asia Spa Leoben

Asia Spa Leoben is a spa and indoor water park in Leoben in Styria, set in parkland on a bend of the river Mur and linked by a bathrobe corridor to the adjoining Asia Hotel. Although hotel and spa share a site and a brand, the spa is not restricted to hotel guests: the operator sells day-spa tickets and monthly passes through its online shop and at the door, for the water world, the sauna world and the summer outdoor pool separately. The complex is managed by GMF and pairs Austrian and East Asian design motifs, which give the individual saunas and pools their names.

The water is spring water rather than thermal water; the operator makes no claim of a thermal or mineral source. In the Familienwelt, the indoor family and sports area, the 25-metre sports pool has five lanes, a maximum depth of 180 cm and a temperature of 27 °C, and is described as filled with spring water. The adventure pool with bubble loungers, whirlpool and current channel runs at 32 to 33.5 °C with a maximum depth of 125 cm, as do the teaching pool at up to 100 cm and the toddlers' pool at 30 cm. Two indoor slides are given as 100 metres long at a 10 per cent gradient and 45 metres at 24 per cent. In the sauna world, entry to which is restricted to visitors aged 16 and over, the lotus pool and relaxation pool are 32 to 34 °C and the brine pool 32 to 34.5 °C, all 135 cm deep; the operator notes that these pools may be used with or without swimwear and that the relaxation pool is textile-free.

The sauna world is certified five stars by the Deutscher Sauna-Bund. Named cabins include the Loftsauna, a Finnish infusion sauna at 90 °C seating up to 50 people, the Teehaussauna at 95 °C in the sauna courtyard where most infusions are held, the Erzbergstollen at 80 °C styled as a mining gallery, a herb sauna at 55 °C, an aroma steam bath at 40 °C and a tepidarium at 45 °C. No total sauna count is published. Long sauna nights run on Fridays from October to April, with the sauna world open until 23:00.

The water and sauna worlds open daily from 09:00 to 21:00, with bathing ending 15 minutes before closing. The Aubad outdoor pool, which has a 50-metre sports pool, an adventure pool with a slide, a playground and a beach volleyball court, is seasonal and weather-dependent, listed for 18 May to 12 September 2026. The indoor family area is closed for scheduled maintenance from 7 to 13 September 2026 inclusive and reopens on 14 September; the operator states that the indoor 25-metre sports pool and the sauna world stay open during that period.
