Aqua Dome

AQUA DOME is a thermal spa in Längenfeld, in Tyrol's Ötztal valley, built around a sodium-chloride-sulphate-sulphur thermal spring. According to the spa, the water is drawn from 1,865 metres below ground and was discovered as a healing spring in the 16th century. The complex combines an indoor bathing hall, outdoor pools with mountain views, a large sauna world and a 4-star Superior hotel, and is open year-round.

Thermal water

The spa describes its source as a sodium-chloride-sulphate-sulphur thermal spring reaching a depth of 1,865 metres, with a bivalent sulphur content of 5 mg S–/l. The site states that the water has beneficial effects on the joints, muscles and circulation and supports mental relaxation. Thermal pools are kept at 34-36°C.

Pools

The site lists 12 pools totalling about 2,200 square metres of water area. These include two indoor pools within the glass Thermendom, three signature bowl-shaped outdoor pools, a 25-metre sports pool, a river pool with a current channel, and dedicated massage, sulphur and brine pools. A separate children's water area provides a giant slide, splash zones and water games.

Sauna and wellness

The sauna world covers around 2,000 square metres and comprises 10 saunas and steam baths, including a stone sauna and a gorge sauna, alongside relaxation rooms and an outdoor area. The spa also offers massages, baths, wraps, peels and treatment applications, DAY SPA packages, a private spa suite for couples, and a fitness centre with a daily activity programme (yoga, indoor cycling, aqua fitness and functional training).

Hotel and dining

The on-site 4-star Superior hotel offers more than 200 rooms and suites in an alpine-modern design, with family rooms and half-board (breakfast buffet and dinner) included. A pool bar provides refreshments. Free childcare is offered from age 3.

Opening hours

The spa states the thermal bath is open daily 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM (closing from 10:30 PM), the sauna 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and the fitness centre 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, year-round.
