北投公園露天溫泉（千禧湯）

The Beitou Park Open-Air Hot Spring, popularly nicknamed the "Millennium Hot Spring" (千禧湯) because it opened to the public in December 1999, is a municipally run public bathing complex set within Beitou Park, moments from the MRT Xinbeitou (New Beitou) station in Taipei's famous volcanic hot-spring district.

Volcanic sulphur water

The water is drawn from the nearby Thermal Valley (地熱谷) and is a chloride-sulphate spring known as green sulphur (青磺泉) — an acidic, mineral-rich volcanic hot spring. Source temperatures across the pools run roughly 38–45°C, cooling as the water flows to the lower terraces.

Tiered public pools

• Six communal pools arranged across stepped terraces following the natural slope
• Four hot spring pools plus two cold-water pools
• Swimwear required; bathers shower before entering

Setting

The roughly 1,000 m² grounds are built in a Japanese-influenced style using natural stone and timber, with ticket booths and washrooms roofed in black cultural tiles, evoking Beitou's hot-spring heritage.
