Aquafelix

Aquafelix is an outdoor water park at Civitavecchia, in the metropolitan area of Rome. According to the operator the park has been open since 1995, extends over about 80,000 m² set in greenery, and has had from the beginning a distinguishing relationship with the landscape: its pools, slides and attractions are laid into a hilly site and make use of its natural changes in level. The operator presents the park as a reference point in Italian summer entertainment with more than thirty years of experience, and states that its priority is a safe, accessible and memorable visit. The park's own name and those of its attractions, restaurants and facilities are Latin-derived, with references to ancient Rome. Italian Wikipedia records that since 2026 the park has belonged to the Openature chain of parks.

Pools

The operator states that the pools are meant to give both fun and rest to visitors of every age, and names the wave pool Onda Imperiale, where waves are generated, along with Bahia Felix and Idrofelix, and also lists a pool called Maremotum. Bahia Felix is described as bringing together pools, slides, hydromassage and small cascades, and the operator lists lagoons for children and relaxation zones set among the greenery. Umbrellas with two sun loungers can be hired at the refreshment points, in the pool areas and at the foot of the slides, and open grass solariums are set aside for laying out a mat.

Slides

Aspides is ridden in pairs and the operator describes it as three hundred metres of open and closed water slides ending in what it calls the largest cone in Italy; riders must be between 100 and 140 cm tall and accompanied. Multisplash is four parallel slides down a steep descent, raced four at a time, from 100 cm. Mozza Fiatum is two slides side by side with humps and steep drops, also from 100 cm, and Vortex is a semi-enclosed slide of successive curves, again from 100 cm. Katakumba is fully enclosed and ridden on an inflatable through sudden bends in the dark, with a minimum height of 120 cm. Flentum, which starts at Bahia Felix, carries riders on a ring along a calm water course and the operator states that it suits everyone. The operator also refers to a slide it calls the legendary Kamikaze.

For children

The operator describes Bahia Felix as a corner designed for the enjoyment of the youngest visitors and the relaxation of the rest of the family, combining pools, slides, hydromassage and cascades in what it calls a safe space full of surprises, with its own animation programme. Baby Dance turns Bahia Felix into a dance floor for small children every day; Summer Games, quizzes and games with the animation staff, run daily, and a foam party is held every Saturday and Sunday. A microwave for warming baby food is available free of charge at the Golosarium by the park entrance, and the park takes summer-camp groups and school parties.

Food and services

The operator lists the Magnafelix restaurant, serving traditional cooking and pizza, and three kiosks: Bahia Café beside Bahia Felix, the Golosarium, and Onda Café by the Onda Imperiale pool, with sandwiches, snacks, ice cream and coffee. Lockers are at the Emporium, the Golosarium and Bahia Felix. For visitors who need it, the operator states that a pool-access wheelchair can be borrowed free of charge from the park infirmary.

Opening hours

Aquafelix works a summer season only. The operator publishes a day-by-day calendar with opening at 9:30 or 10:00 and closing between 18:30 and 22:00 depending on the date, noting that the times are indicative and that the management may change them, announcing any change on site. The operator states that its phone line is staffed from 9:00 to 17:30 on every day the park is open.
