Spa Luberon Provence

Spa Luberon Provence is the wellness suite of the Mas de la Senancole, a hotel at Les Imberts, 2171 Avenue Justin Bonfils, 84220 Gordes, in the Vaucluse; the operating company's registered seat, given in the legal notice, is the same address, so no second location is involved. The hotel states it is about 4 km from the centre of Gordes.

There is no thermal source here, and the entry's classification as a thermal bath is not supported by the operator. A keyword sweep of the spa page for "thermal", "thermale", "source" and "minéral" returns nothing, and neither the spa page nor the FAQ mentions a spring, a borehole or mineral water. The water is ordinary water, heated and cooled; the marine theme on the site refers to the Phytomer cosmetics range used for treatments, not to the water in the pools.

The spa is open to visitors who are not staying at the hotel. The operator writes that whether you are a resident of the hotel or simply passing nearby you are welcome to push the doors of the treatment space, the FAQ answers the question of access without an overnight stay with a plain "Oui", and elsewhere states that the spa receives non-resident guests and therefore keeps separate men's and women's changing rooms. Access is paid for by everyone, hotel guests included, with hotel guests getting a preferential rate; it is sold in two-hour slots with an optional extra hour, and each treatment booking carries one free hour of the wellness area. The area is not privatised by default but is capped at twelve people at a time, and is mixed, with separate changing rooms. Minimum age is 16, with a parental waiver for 16- and 17-year-olds, and swimwear is compulsory, men's shorts excluded. The separate outdoor swimming pool of the hotel, heated from May to September, is reserved exclusively for hotel guests and is not part of the spa.

The two operator pages give slightly different equipment lists, and they disagree on one figure. The spa page lists a balneotherapy-style hot pool with a massage zone of multi-jet seats and loungers, a water cannon and underwater jets, heated to 32 °C; a cold pool at 10 °C for muscle recovery; a hammam; a sauna; a sensory shower; a hydromassage bed at extra charge; massages; and body and facial treatments. The FAQ describes the same access as a hammam, a sauna, a sensory shower, a hot whirlpool pool, a cold pool at 13 °C and a herbal-tea area. The cold pool is therefore given as 10 °C on one page and 13 °C on the other, and the site offers no reconciliation. Treatments are given in four cabins, all of which can be used as duo cabins at no supplement, using Phytomer products; pregnancy massages have been offered since 2025, on request only. Spa days combining a treatment with lunch at the hotel's restaurant L'Estellan are also sold.

Published hours are Monday to Thursday 9:00–13:00 and 14:00–19:00, Friday and Saturday 9:00–13:00 and 14:00–20:00, and Sunday 9:00–13:00 and 14:00–18:00. Booking is required and cancellations need 24 hours' notice. The spa keeps its own contact details, contact@spalp.fr and 04 86 84 20 80, separate from the hotel's. No opening year and no admission price for the wellness access are published on the site; the treatment menu is a separate PDF.
