About

JukuPark Kalajoki is an open-air water park in the Hiekkasärkät resort area of Kalajoki on the Gulf of Bothnia coast, beside national road 8. It operates only in summer and is closed for the rest of the year. For the 2026 season the operator published daily hours of 11–19 for 22–30 June, 1–31 July and 1–9 August, while a park news item dated 10 April 2026 announced an opening on 12 June; the two statements are not reconciled on the site. The park is one of two JukuPark sites, the other being in Turku, and it is run alongside the neighbouring SeikkailuGolf adventure golf course and the Kompassi terrace restaurant.

The operator states that the park has 19 water slides, large pools full of activity and a big water play world. Three pools are listed: an Iso allas main pool 75 centimetres deep into which several slides discharge, a children's pool 40 centimetres deep with its own small slides, and the WaterPlay pool, an interactive water play area of 1000 square metres and 50 centimetres depth that itself carries six different slides.

The named slides include Tornado, ridden on a two-person ring; the four-lane Surfing Hill, descended head first on a mat; Skeitti, a ring ride down a steep water ramp; Thunder Cruise, taken two at a time in a boat; the long River Ride ring slide; the body slides Aqua Cruise, Free Fall and Crazy Cruise; and the children's slides Kids Whale and Kids Rainbow Fish. The operator grades them by difficulty from blue through red to black and publishes minimum heights of 120 or 140 centimetres and weight limits for several of them.

Alongside the water attractions the park has dry and boating activities: a pirate-themed climbing area and a pirate adventure water course and castle introduced as the season's new features, the Fantazy minigolf area, pedal boats, electric bumper boats, Power Paddlers mini boats, Crazy Rollers walk-on-water balls, a bounce games arena, a large climbing frame and the Majakkatorni cable tower. There is a sunbathing area, a sauna and terraces, and four catering outlets — JukuTerassi, JukuBurger, JukuJäätelö and JukuHerkku. Tickets bought in advance online are 2.50 euros cheaper per ticket than at the gate.
