Tervise Paradiis
Estonia's largest water park, on the beach at Pärnu, with 11,000 square metres of pools, slides and saunas attached to a four-star spa hotel.
About
Tervise Paradiis stands at Side 14 on the beach at Pärnu and calls itself Eesti suurim veekeskus — Estonia's largest water centre. It is the water park of a four-star spa hotel, and the operator puts the whole complex at 11 000 m2 avarust ja atraktsioone, eleven thousand square metres of space and attractions, which makes it the largest facility of its kind in the country by a wide margin.
The water park proper holds slides, water channels, hot tubs, a run of whitewater built as a mountain river, and waterfalls. A 4 rajaga 25 meetrine ujumisbassein — a four-lane twenty-five-metre swimming pool — serves those who come to swim rather than to slide. An outdoor pool is kept warm and stays open in winter, with a summer terrace beside it, and an Aqua bar serves the pool deck. The sauna side of the park runs a Finnish sauna and a steam sauna with cold plunge pools between them.
Separately from the park, the complex operates Paradiisi Saunad, a set of eight private saunas that are booked as rooms rather than entered on a general ticket, drawing on Finnish, steam and international traditions. A gym, a group training room and a six-lane bowling alley complete the building, along with restaurants and bars.
The water park keeps its own website apart from the hotel's, and hours are published there rather than on the hotel pages; anyone visiting outside the summer should check them, as the park's timetable is set season by season.
