What this is
A catalogue of places in Europe where you can get into warm water: thermal baths, water parks, saunas, spas, natural hot springs and lidos. Each has a page with its location on a map, its address, and whatever is known about its opening hours, prices, water temperature and facilities.
Where the data comes from
Locations, names and facility tags come from OpenStreetMap under the ODbL licence. Regions and towns are resolved through Nominatim. Wikidata and Wikimedia Commons add identifiers and licensed photos where a safe match exists. Water facts and ticket prices come from operator pages and show their source and check date when stored. Unknown facts stay unknown rather than guessed.
Who it is for
Anyone deciding where to spend a cold Saturday, planning a week around a spa town, or looking for a pool with a slide within an hour's drive. Fourteen languages, because a thermal bath in Hungary is searched for in Hungarian, in German and in Polish.
What it costs
Nothing. There is no booking, no commission and no paid placement: every venue page links to the operator's own site. Ticket prices are the operator's and are shown as published.

- Where do the venues come from?
- From OpenStreetMap, via the Overpass API, filtered to water parks, public baths, hot springs, saunas, spas and lidos. The import runs weekly and updates existing entries rather than duplicating them. Editors then add descriptions, photographs and corrections, and those survive the next import.
- Why does a venue page say a fact is not known?
- Because nobody has recorded it. OpenStreetMap does not require opening hours, prices or water temperatures, and most entries carry only some of them. An untagged facility is shown as unknown rather than as absent — saying a venue has no sauna because nobody tagged one would be a claim we cannot support.
- Are the prices reliable?
- A price is shown as a number only where the source states a single unambiguous amount. Anything else — a range, a tariff with several tickets, a time-limited package — is quoted verbatim as it was written. Prices change and the operator's own site is always the authority; every venue page links to it.
- How are the ratings calculated?
- As the mean of approved visitor reviews, and nothing else. A venue with no approved reviews has no rating and none is estimated. Every review is read by a person before it appears.
- Can I book through the site?
- No. There is no booking, no payment and no commission. Each venue page links to the operator's own site, which is where a ticket is bought.
- Which languages is it in?
- Fourteen: English, German, Hungarian, Czech, Slovak, Slovenian, Polish, Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Romanian and Russian. Path segments are translated too, so each language has its own URLs rather than English ones with translated text on them.
