Vručica

Banja Vrućica is a spa resort in the Usora river valley near Teslić, in Bosnia and Herzegovina, among low forested hills. It has a history of more than a hundred years, and its pools are the main part of what it offers besides medical care.

The resort sits on a source of carbonated acidic thermal-mineral water at around 32 °C, which feeds both its recreational and therapeutic pools. There are seven pools, indoors and out. The indoor recreational pool is round, 16 metres across, with hydromassage, waterfalls and geysers; the open-air pools make up the largest water surface in the resort. Thermal-mineral pools exist both inside and outside, and some pools have underwater massage jets and underwater lighting.

The Stara banja wellness centre in Hotel Kardial covers more than 1,600 m². Its sauna area has a Finnish sauna, an infrared sauna and a Turkish steam bath. Treatments include massage, foot care, body wraps and face, arm and leg treatments.

The resort has four hotels, Kardial, Posavina, Hercegovina and Srbija, and runs prevention, treatment and rehabilitation programmes. There is a restaurant in Hotel Kardial, and a gym.
