Vručica

The aquatic and wellness complex of Banja Vrućica lies in the valley of the river Usora near the town of Teslić in Bosnia and Herzegovina, surrounded by mild hills covered in thick forest. With a tradition stretching back more than a hundred years, Banja Vrućica is recognised as one of the largest and most significant health spas in this part of Europe, and its swimming pools sit at the heart of the resort's recreational offer.

Thermal-mineral water and source

The spa is built on its natural carbonated acidic thermal-mineral water, which flows at a pleasant temperature of around 32°C. The water is valued both for relaxation and stress relief and for its recognised effectiveness in the rehabilitation of cardiovascular, physical-rheumatoid and pulmonary conditions, and it feeds the resort's recreational and therapeutic pools.

Sauna and wellness

The wellness centre "Stara banja", housed within Hotel Kardial, spans over 1,600 m² and offers an extensive programme of treatments. Its Sauna world includes Finnish, infra-red and Turkish (steam) saunas. Wellness services include tailored massages from experienced therapists, foot massage and care, a holistic anti-stress massage, soothing body poultices and treatments for the face, arms and legs.

Setting, stay and dining

The resort comprises four hotels — Kardial, Posavina, Hercegovina and Srbija — providing accommodation alongside prevention, treatment and rehabilitation programmes as well as recreation. Guests can dine at Restaurant Kardial. Beyond the water, the complex offers fitness facilities and sports and recreational activities within its forested hillside setting.
