Eriksdalsbadet

Eriksdalsbadet is a large public swimming complex in Stockholm's Eriksdal district, operated by the City of Stockholm, which describes it as Sweden's national arena for competitive swimming. The water side consists of several separate pools: a 25-metre competition pool with adjustable depth, usually about 2.6 metres, used for lane swimming, breaststroke and crawl; a 50-metre pool that is 2.2 metres deep at the sides and 2.6 metres in the middle, also used for water polo; a 17-metre teaching pool with adjustable depth, normally 0.9 metres and raised to 1.3-1.4 metres for water aerobics; and a diving pool, closed to the public in summer and mostly booked by clubs. Separate from the competition pools is an "adventure pool" with a slide, a rapids-style current feature, an outdoor swimming basin, and a current channel, plus a small splash pool for young children; its landing basins are 1.4 metres deep and the water is about 29 degrees. The site also has three whirlpools for relaxation, and additional outdoor pools described on a separate page. Entry to the adventure pool is included in the general admission price. The operator's pages do not mention a sauna or a wellness area.
