The Termas de Vimioso (Termas da Terronha) is a municipal thermal spa in Vimioso, in northeastern Portugal, set in the midst of nature. Its modern thermal bathhouse (Balneário Termal) opened in 2013, offering treatments administered by qualified therapists using innovative equipment.
Thermal water
The spa draws on a hypothermal, sulphurous, sodium-bicarbonate, fluoridated and alkaline mineral water. A medical-hydrological study has recognised its therapeutic benefits for rheumatic and musculoskeletal conditions and for diseases of the respiratory system.
