Aquapark Sopot
A year-round municipal-company water park in Sopot whose pools are filled from its own 116.4 m artesian well into the Oligocene aquifer, with recreation pools, six slides, a year-round outdoor pool and a ten-cabin sauna world.
About
Aquapark Sopot stands at ul. Zamkowa Góra 5 in Sopot and is run by Park Wodny Sopot Sp. z o.o., a company registered in Sopot under KRS 0000018353. The water is not geothermal and not brine: the operator states that it comes from its own deep well into the Oligocene aquifer within the Tertiary water-bearing stage, and puts this plainly in the summary line "Mamy własną studnię artezyjską". The published figures are a well 116.4 m deep with a maximum hourly draw of 41 m3, the Oligocene horizon in the Sopot area lying at about 100 m below ground level. The well was drilled in 2006, and the operator dates the start of the supply system from natural sources to 10 September 2016. Water quality is published in a monitoring panel that gives very good clarity, pH 7, redox 763 mV, free chlorine 0.31 mg/l and a water temperature of 32 °C, alongside a downloadable annual water-quality report; the operator notes the water has a pH suitable for public swimming pools and is treated and disinfected before use.
The pool set is enumerated rather than totalled. The operator lists recreation pools, a para-swimming pool, a pool for the youngest children, a whirlpool, hydromassage stations, a year-round outdoor pool and a seasonal pool for the youngest children. The year-round outdoor pool is joined to the indoor recreation pool by a lit flow channel, so it can be reached without leaving the water, and the operator points to winter as the season when it is most striking. Six slides are listed by name: Dzika Rzeka (a wild-river run with its own opening hours), Familijna, Turbo, Dwutorowa familijna, Trzytorowa familijna, and a Wodny plac zabaw water playground.
The sauna area, called Świat Saun, is enumerated as Laconium, Sauna Baltic, a brine graduation tower (tężnia solankowa), Serail Bath, Sauna Nordic, Sauna Finnish, Aroma Sauna, Biosauna, Steam Bath and Caldarium, with sauna ceremonies and a women-only sauna Tuesday. A separate SPA offers treatments by reservation. Opening hours are published per zone: the aquapark Monday to Friday 10.00-22.00 and Saturday to Sunday 09.00-22.00; Dzika Rzeka from 11.00 on weekdays and 10.00 at weekends; Świat Saun from 12.00 on weekdays and 11.00 at weekends; the SPA daily 14.00-22.00. Admission is by timed ticket. For the period 01-30.09.2026 the published rates are 75 zł for one hour, 135 zł for three hours and 175 zł with no time limit at the full rate, and 65 / 115 / 145 zł at the reduced or family rate per person, with overstay charged at 2 zł per minute and towel hire at 25 zł.
