Ventspils Ūdens Piedzīvojumu Parks

Ventspils Water Amusement Park (Ūdens piedzīvojumu parks), run by the Olympic Centre "Ventspils", is at Lauku iela 5, Ventspils, Latvia, split into a water attractions/SPA complex and a separate sports complex. The attractions zone has an artificial wave pool 1.6 m deep with periodic waves, counter-current massage and jets; a warm pool with a water cascade and horizontal massage jets; a children's pool with animal-shaped figures (a snake, a bird, a mushroom); and two slides, 53 m and 56 m long and 6 m high, named Kalnu upe (Mountain River). Air temperature is kept around 28C, the wave pool around 26C, and the children's pool and jacuzzis around 36C. The SPA zone has four saunas - a Turkish bath, an aromatic sauna, a Tylarium sauna and an infrared sauna - plus a salt room, a cold-water pool, massage showers, a cold-water barrel and an artificial ice generator. The sports complex has a competition-length 25 m pool with four lanes, depths of 1.78 m and 1.32 m at the ends, underwater massage and lighting, its own sauna, and a smaller 12.75 m pool 0.75-1.22 m deep with counter-current jets. A single visit to the attractions/SPA complex lasts two hours; it operates Wednesday to Sunday, 12:00-21:00.
