Valmieras Peldbaseina Atpūtas Zona

Valmieras peldbaseins is an indoor swimming and wellness complex in Valmiera, Latvia, run by Valmieras Olimpiskais centrs. Its main pool measures 21 by 25 meters with 8 lanes and depths of 1.20 and 2.20 meters, used for both training and recreational swimming; the spectator stands seat 242 people plus standing room for 50. Two separate teaching pools, each 8 by 12.5 meters, are used for children's swimming lessons, sport rehabilitation, water gymnastics and family recreation. A dedicated relax zone adjoins the pools and includes an aromatic light-therapy sauna at 70°C with 25% humidity, a traditional sauna at 80°C with 10% humidity, and two aromatic steam saunas, juniper and eucalyptus, each at 45°C with 100% humidity. The relax zone also has a salt room kept at 25-30°C with 10% humidity, a massage shower, a bucket of cold water, a cold-water pool at 10-12°C (1.2 m deep), a warmer massage pool at 30°C (1.2 m deep), jacuzzis, and a separate water play area for children. The complex additionally houses a sports and health centre offering physiotherapy, sports medicine and massage services.
