Санаторий «Джеты-Огуз» (Jeti-Ögüz Sanatorium)

The Jeti-Ögüz Sanatorium is a balneological health resort founded in 1927 on the radon mineral-water deposit of the Jeti-Ögüz gorge, on the northern slope of the Terskey Ala-Too range at about 2,200 m above sea level, roughly 28 km from Karakol. It sits opposite the famous red sandstone cliffs known as the "Seven Bulls" (Jeti-Ögüz), a dramatic red-rock setting that draws visitors year-round.

Thermal & radon mineral water

• Naturally radon-rich, sodium-chloride-calcium mineral water with a radon content exceeding 120 nCi/L and total mineralization up to about 13 g/L.
• The water also carries trace elements including iodine, bromine, manganese, zinc, and copper.
• Bath water temperature ranges from roughly 25 to 42 °C.

Baths & pools

• Therapeutic and wellness swimming pools plus radon baths taken in tubs or in the pool.
• A water-and-mud treatment center offering manual and hydro-massage and a full physiotherapy program.

Accommodation

• Four sleeping buildings with capacity for about 202 guests, retaining a Soviet-era character.
• On-site polyclinic, conference hall, and club facilities.
