Пансионат «Ак-Бермет»

Ak-Bermet is a year-round holiday resort ("pansionat") set directly on the northern shore of Lake Issyk-Kul in the village of Kara-Oy, about 250 km from Bishkek and roughly 3 km west of Cholpon-Ata. It combines lakeside recreation with genuine thermal-mineral bathing.

Thermal and mineral water

The resort is fed by a natural hot spring. The water is strongly mineralized, thermal and of chloride-sodium type (classified as "Mirgorod type", compared to the waters of Staraya Russa, Palanga and Solikamsk), and reportedly contains hydrogen sulphide, sulphates and magnesium among other elements credited with therapeutic properties.

Baths, pools and balneology

• Seven mineral-water pools with temperatures from about +37°C to +44°C (roughly 90 cm deep)
• A separate pool filled with lake water and a steam room / sauna
• A covered, heated indoor pool open in any season
• A spa centre and a modern fitness room

Accommodation and amenities

Lodging spans several buildings (Korpus 1-3) plus wooden cottages and log cabins, ranging from standard doubles to suites and larger family cottages. On site there is a cafe and conference halls seating up to 250 and 30 guests.

Setting

The complex sits on the sandy north shore of Issyk-Kul, giving direct lake access alongside its thermal pools in the Cholpon-Ata resort zone.
