Санаторий Сарыагаш «Окси»
Year-round mineral-water sanatorium in Kazakhstan's Saryagash resort zone, with a pool, drinking buvette, mineral baths and balneology.
About
Sanatorium Saryagash «Oxy» (Санаторий Сарыагаш «Окси») is a year-round medical-wellness resort in the famous Saryagash mineral-water zone of Kazakhstan's Turkestan Region. It stands in Kokterek village, about 20 km from Saryagash town and close to the Uzbek border near Tashkent.
Thermal-mineral water
The resort sits over the celebrated Saryagash aquifer, where geologists first struck hot, clear, self-flowing mineral water at a depth of about 1,400 m. This weakly mineralised, slightly alkaline sodium-bicarbonate water rises from a self-flowing well and is used both for bathing cures and for drinking at the on-site buvette.
Baths, pool and balneology
- Swimming pool and an on-site buvette (drinking gallery) fed from the mineral spring
- Balneotherapy: four-chamber galvanic bath, underwater shower-massage, circular shower and Charcot shower
- Further procedures: paraffin-ozokerite applications, inhalations, phytotherapy, electrophoresis, oxygen cocktails, gastric and duodenal treatments, with resident physicians
- Sauna/banya, gym, billiards and a landscaped park
Hotel and dining
Accommodation spans Standard, Standard Plus, Semi-Luxury and Luxury rooms, with an on-site restaurant. The sanatorium operates year-round.
