Ondaland

Ondaland is a water park at Vicolungo, in the province of Novara in the Piedmont region of Italy. It opened in 2005 and extends over roughly 220,000 square metres.

Layout

The park is divided into three themed areas: Water Adventure, a Kids Area and a Sport & Wellness zone. The Water Adventure section is given over to slides, with fifteen attractions including open and enclosed kamikaze slides. In 2023 a new area for younger children, called "L'isola che non c'è", was added, featuring a Peter Pan themed show.

Ondaland received a Golden Pony Award in 2011 in the water-park category. The park changed ownership in 2023.

Named slides include River Rapid, Black Hole, Fantasy River, the five-lane Multipista and the four-seat raft Kobra, plus the dark, high-pressure Hydrotubo and Hydrotubo Kamikaze, Crazy Hill and Twister, and the 140 cm-minimum rides Blade Runner, Space Boat, Invertigo and Dual Loop. La Grande Ola is an artificial sea whose three wave sizes are each announced by a bell, overlooked by winding slides; a lazy river and a 2,000-square-metre adult lagoon with hydromassage pools sit alongside the children's Baby Lagoon and Pirate Lagoon.

On-site accommodation, the Vicolungo Glamour Lodge & Spa, has 14 wooden lodges and a spa with a hot tub, cold shower and sauna.
