Aquazone is an indoor water park within the National Aquatic Centre on the Sport Ireland Campus at Blanchardstown, Dublin, Ireland, which opened in 2003.
About
Aquazone occupies part of the National Aquatic Centre on the Sport Ireland Campus at Snugborough Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15. It opened in 2003, originally under the name Dublin Waterworld, and is operated by Sport Ireland Campus.
Attractions include a wave pool, a lazy river and slides named Dark Hole, Green Giant and Master Blaster, the last a water coaster. A FlowRider surf simulator and a pirate-ship play area for young children are also part of the mix.
Entry works on timed two-hour sessions with limited capacity, and tickets are booked online in advance. Off-season the full set of attractions runs on weekends, bank holidays and school holidays. On-site facilities include a café and coin-operated lockers.
