Spa & Wellness Paradies Braunschweig

Spa & Wellness Paradies Braunschweig, which the operator also writes as Paradies Wellness & Ästhetik Braunschweig, is a day spa in the city centre of Braunschweig at Steinweg 4, about 200 metres from the Schloss-Arkaden shopping centre. It is not a bath: there is no pool, no thermal or mineral water and no bathing hall. The operator describes the premises as rooms for massage and wellness applications together with "einer Lounge, Sauna und Hamam" — a lounge, a sauna and a hamam — and states "Das über 200 qm große Institut bietet Ihnen genügend Platz", giving the size of the institute as over 200 square metres. The lounge has an open fire and can be used by couples or groups. The water character of the venue is therefore plain heated water in a hamam and dry sauna heat; no spring, thermal or brine water is claimed anywhere on the site.

The venue admits day guests rather than hotel residents, but it works by appointment through a "Termin buchen" booking page and sells its treatments as individually priced items and vouchers through an online shop, so there is no general admission ticket to a bathing or sauna area. The sauna is reached through the treatment packages: the package page for the classical Swedish medical massage states that in addition to the massage guests may use "unsere Hauseigene Sauna zu besuchen, die für Sie 1 Stunde lang reserviert ist" — the in-house sauna, reserved for them for one hour — and lists the package at 64 € in durations of about 90, 120 and 150 minutes. The treatment range covers Swedish and classical massage, aromatherapy, Asian and oriental rituals, Hawaiian Lomi Lomi Nui, energetic massage, head spa, facial and body treatments, apparatus-based cosmetics including radiofrequency, and multi-session packages; a wellness party format for groups is also offered. The operator writes that the practice has run with its present team since 2011 and is led by Alexander Frei.

Published opening hours are Monday to Friday 10:00 to 20:00 and Sunday 10:00 to 18:00. The two operator statements of the Saturday hours contradict each other on one and the same contact page: the body of the page gives "Samstag: 10:00 - 22:00 Uhr" while the footer of the same page gives "Samstag: 10:00 - 20:00 Uhr". No separate admission price for the sauna or hamam on their own is published; prices are stated per treatment and per package, from single massages up to a 790 € ten-session combination.
