Thermes de Neyrac-les-Bains is a thermal establishment in Neyrac-les-Bains, in southern Ardeche, combining a conventioned cure centre with a public thermal spa called Les Bains de Neyrac. The operator describes the water as the bicarbonate-calcium and silicate water of Neyrac and as an "eau cicatrisante", used together with the site's own natural thermal silt and mud. Its walk-in Parcours du Spa needs no booking and gives access to a thermal pool at 32 degrees Celsius with swan-neck jets and a jacuzzi, a cold walking corridor, Kneipp hot and cold baths, a hammam and a sauna. The operator gives the 2026 thermal season as 30 March to 21 November.
About
Thermes de Neyrac-les-Bains sits in the Sources et Volcans area of southern Ardeche, which the operator presents as a protected natural setting. The establishment has two distinct sides. One is a conventioned cure centre offering eighteen-day prescribed cures in rheumatology and dermatology, which is a separate medical offer. The other, and the one an ordinary visitor can use, is the spa Les Bains de Neyrac, whose Parcours du Spa the operator states "does not require a reservation" and whose entry ticket carries no time limit, so a visitor may stay until closing. According to the operator the 2026 thermal season runs from 30 March to 21 November, and the establishment also runs a three-star residence with direct access to the thermal spa.
Thermal water
The operator describes the Parcours du Spa as a sequence of stages in "the healing water of Neyrac-les-Bains". On its dermatology page the site states that eczema, psoriasis and psoriatic rheumatism are the first beneficiaries of "the bicarbonate-calcium and silicate waters of Neyrac", and that alongside the classical thermal techniques the use of the natural silt of Neyrac reinforces the effect of the hydrotherapy. The operator attributes the result of its treatments to the action of the thermal agents, naming the silt and the thermal water, combined with the techniques applied by qualified staff, health education and the local climate. A separate article on the site presents the thermal mud and silt of Neyrac as rich in minerals and trace elements; these are the operator's own stated properties rather than demonstrated effects.
Pools
According to the operator, the Parcours du Spa comprises a thermal pool at 32 degrees Celsius fitted with swan-neck jets and a jacuzzi, a cold walking corridor, and Kneipp pools in the form of cold baths at 17 degrees and hot baths at 38 degrees. The site also describes a panoramic mobilisation pool used on the cure side for controlled, adapted joint mobilisation, and a thermal-water pool in which each treatment station has automatic high-pressure underwater jets whose height the bather adjusts.
Treatments
The site lists treatments given in cabins alongside the Parcours: massages of 20, 30 and 60 minutes including Californian, Balinese, hot-stone and under-thermal-water massage, a thermal shower, a hydromassage shower and a bubble bath, leg treatments including frigitherapy and pressotherapy, wraps of thermal silt or shea butter, scrubs, and facial and scalp treatments. The operator states that its spa practitioner has more than ten years of experience in thermal wellbeing and that the spa works with the cosmetics range Baija. On the cure side the operator lists 72 thermal treatments using the water of Neyrac-les-Bains, among them manual massage under a ramp of thermal water given by a physiotherapist, mud cataplasms, a vaporarium delivering thermal steam at 45 to 48 degrees Celsius, jet showers, compresses of hot thermal-water gel, a foot bath and a hand steam box. The operator states that its thermal treatments aim to increase joint suppleness, counter contractures and reduce the use of painkilling and anti-inflammatory medication in chronic rheumatism, and to halt inflammation and itching and prolong remission in eczema and psoriasis; these are the establishment's stated therapeutic orientations.
Sauna and wellness
The operator states that the Parcours du Spa includes a sauna at 90 degrees Celsius and a hammam. Accompanying activities named by the site include gentle gymnastics, stretching, an aquatic back school, balance gymnastics, aquagym and a walking corridor, and the spa also sells wellbeing days and stays combining treatments with a night in its residence, as well as a package pairing the spa with a gastronomic meal. A restaurant and a shop are listed on the site.
Opening hours
For the 2026 season the operator gives the Parcours du Spa as open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 14:00 to 19:00, Tuesday and Thursday from 14:00 to 18:00, Saturday from 9:00 to 12:00 and 13:00 to 19:00, and closed on Sunday. The site states elsewhere that the Spa des Thermes is open Monday to Saturday from 9:00 to 19:00, so the bathing circuit and the treatment cabins keep different hours. Access to the Parcours du Spa is from the age of 16 accompanied by an adult, and the operator asks visitors to bring a towel, clean water shoes and a swim cap.
