Les Thermes du Sultan

Les Thermes du Sultan is a mixed-sex bathhouse and spa in Saint-Egreve, near Grenoble. It has two adjoining areas. The Nord space has a Scandinavian atmosphere with a sauna, a Norwegian shower, a crushed-ice fountain, and a rest room by a fireplace with a herbal-tea corner. The Sud space has an oriental atmosphere with a hammam, hot marble stones, and a bubble pool. Access to both spaces is mixed, tea is offered, and swimwear, flip-flops and a towel are required, with towel rental and disposable flip-flops at two euros each. A two-hour solo entry costs 35 euros, a duo entry 65 euros, and there is a lunchtime rate of 20 euros Tuesday to Friday, noon to 2pm, outside school holidays; longer packages add scrubs, wraps, and massages such as the Berber scrub, Sultan massage, or hot-stone massage on top of the base entry. The venue also runs a separate women-only Spa d'Orient, a Kids spa for parents with children, and private Sherazade suites with balneotherapy and sauna for couples. It is open Monday 2pm-7pm and Tuesday to Saturday 10am-7pm, by reservation. There is no swimming pool with slides here, and no stated mineral or thermal water source: Thermes names the spa brand, not a documented spring.
