Flamingo Spa

Flamingo Spa is an indoor water park and spa at Tasetie 8 in Vantaa, Finland. The operator presents the site as five parts under one roof: the family water park, the adult spa and sauna world, a children's indoor playground, restaurants, and a beauty and wellbeing centre. It is open every day of the year, and the water park and spa both open at 9.00.

The water park section is a warm indoor hall with four different water slides — Viidakkojoki, Rengasliukumäki, Vesiputous and Perheliukumäki — and a group of warm pools listed by the operator as a sports pool, an attraction pool, a counter-current pool and two whirlpools. There is a diving pool with five-metre and three-metre platforms and a Wibit inflatable course for stronger swimmers, and a shallow children's pool with slides and animal figures for the youngest visitors. A sauna with mild heat sits next to the women's and men's shower rooms, water-running belts can be borrowed, and virtual water-exercise instruction runs in the pools. On weekday mornings between 9 and 10 some functions, including the diving platforms, the counter-current pool, the waterfall and the ring slide, are switched off to give a quieter session.

The spa and sauna world is restricted to adults and holds eight different saunas: several steam saunas, a traditional Finnish sauna, a yoga sauna, and salt and tar saunas. Its three pools are a warm-water pool at +37 °C, a mineral-water pool at +34 °C with underwater music and bubble beds, and a +7 °C cold-water plunge pool named Avanto. The section also has heated relaxation loungers, a mill-wheel shower, a salt wall, the Tropical Bar poolside restaurant and the spa's treatment world. A spa ticket also grants access to the water park.

Published hours are 9.00–21.00 daily for the water park, 9.00–21.00 Monday to Thursday and Sunday and 9.00–22.00 on Friday and Saturday for the spa and sauna world, with occasional extended Tropical Friday evenings until 23.00. The stay in both the water park and the spa is limited to four hours, and swimming and sauna use end 30 minutes before closing. Ancillary facilities include the Funpark indoor playground, the Flamingo Beach Bistro pool restaurant, the Waffles & Wine restaurant and the MySense beauty and wellbeing centre, and the operator also runs swimming lessons, baby swimming, guided water exercise and summer camps.
