Atlantis H2O Aquapark

Water parkViimsi, Estonia

An indoor aquapark at Viimsi outside Tallinn with eight slides, the longest over 120 metres, a wave pool and a current pool.

About

Atlantis H2O Aquapark is an indoor water park at Ravi tee 1 in Haabneeme, in the municipality of Viimsi just beyond the northern edge of Tallinn. It is built around slides rather than around thermal water: the operator lists eight of them, and describes the longest as running üle 120 m — over a hundred and twenty metres.

The slides are named by colour, and each carries its own rules, which is the clearest guide to how steep it is. The purple slide is for confident swimmers only, drops into a landing pool 1.8 metres deep and admits nobody under 1.40 metres tall, with rings forbidden. The black and yellow slides are worked with light effects and take both single and double rings; the black one also sets a 1.40-metre minimum, the yellow one 1.20. The orange, green and blue slides are ridden without rings, the blue one open to smaller children when an adult comes along. Two further slides belong to the toddlers' area and start at a metre tall.

Away from the slides there is a wave pool, a pool with a circulating current, and a children's play area standing in water only 0.20 metres deep. A sauna centre operates alongside the pools, and a café called NOMNOM seats sixty-four. Tickets are sold without a time limit on the visit, and a family pass covers five people.
