Zaton Holiday Resort

The database name Turisthotel d.o.o. is the operating company, not the bathing venue: the operator's terms of use state that Zaton Holiday Resort is managed by Turisthotel d.o.o. The resort is at Dražnikova 78, HR-23232 Nin, on the Dalmatian coast north-west of Zadar, in the village of Zaton within the Nin postal area. It is a large holiday resort with camping, glamping, apartments and camping homes, and its bathing offer is not limited to residents: the pools page states that the pool complexes are also open to external visitors, and the FAQ repeats that both swimming pool complexes are open to external visitors. Day visitors pay a resort entrance fee of 30.00 EUR per car and must also pay for sun loungers and parasols, a set of two loungers and one parasol costing 20.00 to 23.00 EUR depending on the zone; cash is not accepted. Resort guests have free access.

The operator enumerates the pools rather than giving a total. The Forest Oasis Pool Zone, on the north side of the resort among pine trees, is described as a 2,500 m² complex including a 300 m² children's pool with four attractions and two water slides, with a restaurant and a poolside bar. The Beachfront Pool Zone is a second complex of 2,500 m² listing a pool for adults and teenagers of 842 m² at 1.30 m depth, a children's pool of 342 m² at 0.35 m, a further pool of 195 m² at 1.35 m, three smaller pools with hydromassage deckchairs and benches of 142, 109 and 110 m² at 0.90 m, a larger pool with hydromassage benches and a view of the Adriatic of 196 m² at 1.20 m, two connected pools of 236 m² and 77 m² for younger visitors, a spray park of 304 m², a sunbathing area with loungers and parasols for hire, a snack bar and an amphitheatre seating 750. The Ventula Pool Lounge, on the top floor of the Ventula complex, adds a 140 m² pool at 1.30 m with hydromassage beds and a sea view, a 90 m² swimming pool and a pool bar; two packages are sold there, the Family Deluxe at 220.00 EUR for up to four people and the Premium Duo at 100.00 EUR for two, each additional person aged eight and over costing 55.00 and 50.00 EUR respectively.

Both pool complexes open daily from 10:00 to 18:00. The water is neither thermal nor mineral; the pages read describe ordinary pool water and do not state whether it is fresh or seawater, and give no water temperature, no opening year and no season dates. The resort also has an approximately 1,500 m sandy beach.
