Bellewaerde Aquapark

Bellewaerde Aquapark is an indoor subtropical swimming pool in Ieper, Belgium, part of the Bellewaerde Park at Meenseweg 497. The operator lists 13 attractions, 6 slides and 2 restaurants. Slides include Aquaventure, a family tube slide for at least two riders that the operator calls a European first; Splash Clash, a pair of racing slides; Regenboog; Aqua Fort, a water-obstacle structure with a slide, water pistols and a tipping bucket; Jungle Expedition, a slow ring river with a climbing wall in a cave; and Maxi Splash, a wide double slide. Junior Explorer is a play ship for children with water pistols and a slide, and Bambino Beach is a toddler zone with a boat, water play, heated benches and a whirlpool next to the Aqua Bistro terrace. For wellness, the Secret Cave holds a sauna and a jacuzzi in a bubble zone; further jacuzzis sit at Bambino Beach and near Junior Explorer. A sun lawn (Ligweide) and the Garden Cafe with an outdoor bar are on site, plus exotic fish seen from the Jungle Expedition river and a submarine-shaped viewing point.
