Hepburn Bathhouse & Spa sits within the Hepburn Mineral Springs Reserve at Hepburn Springs near Daylesford, in the heart of the largest concentration of mineral springs in Australia. Bathing at this site dates back to the 1890s, and the modern bathhouse continues the tradition beside Spring Creek.
The mineral water
The region's mineral water is naturally carbonated (effervescent) and rich in minerals such as magnesium, calcium, silica and sulphur. It emerges cool to mild from the springs and is drawn from its natural source, then heated to comfortable bathing temperatures across the pools.
