«Արզնի» առողջարան

Arzni Health Resort is an operating balneological spa and sanatorium set in the Hrazdan River gorge at about 1,250 m elevation, roughly 23 km north of Yerevan. The resort area was declared a health resort in 1925 and built its reputation on the naturally carbonated mineral water of the Arzni springs.

Mineral water & source

The Arzni water is a carbonated bicarbonate-chloride-sodium mineral water containing roughly 1.25–2.0 g/l of dissolved carbon dioxide and 8–10 g/l of total mineral salts, rich in boron and silicon and often compared to the springs of Karlovy Vary. It is used to dilate blood vessels and to help lower blood sugar and cholesterol.
