Radon-thermal water

Mitsis Galini sits in Kamena Vourla, a mainland Greek coast town celebrated for radioactive thermal springs whose principal active element is radon. The resort's spa draws on these natural sources, the water acquiring its mineral character from the rocks along its underground route. Radon is described as penetrating the body through the skin and respiratory system, with benefits cited for neuralgia and neuritis, the expulsion of uric acid, the hepatic and glandular cells, the lungs and adrenal glands, and the balance of the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system.

The Galini Spa is presented as the largest spa in the Balkans, extending over roughly 3,000 sq.m. Facilities include an indoor hydrotherapy pool, a thermal pool and a whirlpool, alongside a sauna and hammam. Treatments span hydrotherapies with sea or thermal water, therapeutic treatments, massages, rituals, facial treatments, aromatherapies, and body peelings and masks.
