SPA Complex "Struilitsa" (СПА Комплекс „Струилица“) is described on its official site as one of the most significant spa complexes in Devin, a balneological town set amid the magic of the Western Rhodopes and known for its abundance of mineral waters. Nestled among forest and mountain scenery on the banks of the Devinska River, it is presented as a place for relaxation, nature and unforgettable experiences, suited equally to a weekend escape, sport, or a business gathering across all seasons.

Mineral & thermal water

The site states that no other town on the Balkan Peninsula has as many mineral springs as Devin. The complex's waters rise from several hydrothermal sources with temperatures between 37°C and 44°C and a similar chemistry: hydrocarbonate-sodium, strongly alkaline (pH 9.4), very low water hardness (0.3 German degrees, i.e. "soft" water), clear, colourless, odourless and of excellent drinking quality.

• Lightly fluoric water — 4.6 mg of fluorine per litre.
• One source is slightly radon-bearing — 159 becquerels, or 4.3 nano-Curie/l.
• Near Devin a low-mineralisation drinking water (0.223 g/l) is bottled.
• A higher-mineralisation water (1.76 g/l), hotter (76°C) and rich in colloidal metasilicic acid (92 mg/l) is delivered by pipeline from the Beden Baths balneological site.
