Комплекс Край водата (Waterside Complex)

Waterside Complex (Комплекс Край водата) sits at the foot of the Rhodope Mountains in the famed spa village of Ognyanovo, arranged around a picturesque lake (a former rowing base). The complex draws on Ognyanovo's natural thermal water, which surfaces at the spring at 43°C and has been used for bathing since Roman times.

• Natural hot mineral water flowing from the source at 43°C.
• Used across both the indoor mineral pool and the outdoor summer pool zone.

Pools & attractions

• Indoor mineral pool measuring 12 x 8 metres, 1.40 m deep, with built-in hydromassage jets and an integrated pool for the youngest children, kept at roughly 32-33°C.
• Summer zone (Лятна зона) with outdoor pools of warm mineral water and outdoor jacuzzis with hot mineral water.

Thermal zone, sauna & wellness

• Finnish sauna (operating at 80-90°C).
• Infrared sauna.
• Steam bath (парна баня).
• Ice bath (ледена вана), recommended around 10°C for about 10 minutes.
• A menu of massage treatments.

Family & kids

The indoor mineral pool includes an integrated shallow pool for the smallest children, and the accommodation and guest houses are suited to families.

Dining

The on-site Restaurant Krai Vodata serves local, European and grilled dishes in a family-friendly, modern and romantic setting.

Setting & experiences

Beyond the water, the lakeside complex offers sport fishing, free bicycles, and water activities including pedal boats and canoe-kayak. Accommodation ranges from standard, deluxe, spa and panoramic rooms to standalone standard and premium guest houses.
