СПА ХОТЕЛ АТА

SPA Hotel ATA (СПА ХОТЕЛ АТА) is a spa complex in the mineral-spring resort town of Varshets, at the foot of the Stara Planina mountains in north-western Bulgaria. It draws on the town's therapeutic mineral springs to fill a set of indoor and outdoor pools, and welcomes external day visitors as well as hotel guests.

The town of Varshets is rich in mineral springs with curative, low-mineralisation waters, which feed the hotel's covered and open pools.

Pools & attractions

• Indoor mineral-water pool (year-round): 15 x 9 m, depth 1.60 m, water 29–31°C, with an adjoining children's pool (2 x 2.10 m, depth 0.60 m).
• Outdoor heated mineral-water pool (seasonal): 20 x 10 m, depth 1.60 m, water 29–31°C, with a children's pool (10 x 2.10 m, depth 0.60 m).
• Outdoor heated salt mineral-water pool (year-round): 7 x 4 m, depth 1.40 m, warm thermal water at 36–39°C.
• Jacuzzi available (bookable separately).

Sauna & wellness

• Relaxation zone with sauna and steam bath.
• SPA centre with 10 treatment cabins for body and facial procedures, massages and other treatments.
• Salt room recreating a healing microclimate similar to salt caves, pine forests or the seaside.
• Fitness facilities included in the day-visitor package.

Family & kids

Dedicated children's pools accompany both the indoor and outdoor mineral pools, and reduced children's rates apply to day passes and individual/family baths.

Public access

External visitors are admitted (subject to capacity, with hotel guests given priority; advance reservation recommended). Day packages cover the pools, sauna, steam bath and fitness. Pools operate 08:00–20:00 daily.

Dining

On-site dining includes a classic restaurant and a smaller dining hall, along with a Lobby Bar, Aqua Bar and Piano Bar.

Setting

The hotel sits in central Varshets, roughly 140 km from Sofia Airport via the Hemus motorway, about 34 km from Montana and around 35 km from Vratsa.
