Aquatonik (Балнеокомплекс АкватониК) is a 4-star balneotherapy complex in the Chepino quarter of Velingrad, the spa capital of the Balkans, in the Rhodope Mountains of south-west Bulgaria. It combines mineral bathing, balneo-medical care and a large wellness zone in one venue.

Mineral & thermal water

The complex is built around the only aquatonic swimming pool in Bulgaria, fed by the town's mineral water. The site highlights an indoor thermal pool as part of the aquatonic complex.

Spa & wellness

The spa centre offers massages, ancient spa rituals, Ayurveda therapy, slimming programmes, and skin, face and body-care procedures, together with hydro-massage and tangentor or aroma baths. A Finnish sauna and a steam bath are included. Use of the spa centre is restricted to guests aged 14 and over.

Balneo-medical care

A Centre for Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine provides therapeutic and rehabilitation treatments on site.

Fitness, sport & leisure

Facilities include a fitness area, a tennis court, a games hall and golf, Formula 1 and rally simulators. A Japanese tea house recreates a natural setting where visitors can enjoy a cup of tea.

Dining

The restaurant has two halls, one serving a la carte and one European with show cooking, complemented by a lobby bar and a swimming-pool bar.

The complex sits in the Chepino quarter of Velingrad, close to the town's railway station and within a few kilometres of the town centre.
